Great, authentic bnb. Rooms are small but very comfortable, bed with cotton sheets and blankets. Very well located with great views of the water. Owners Linda and Phillip offer a superior breakfast at their restaurant just a short walk away. Espresso coffee, possibly the best cappuccino I've ever had and I've had them all over the world. Definitely recommend this place as well as the Three Sisters' pub a few doors down.

Will return! We had a reservation to stay here but they closed up the inn for end of season before we arrived (Thanksgiving). It was a surprise but we were still treated like kings!! Phillip put us up in a beautiful suite above his Cafe. The room was so comfortable - the nicest place we stayed in our 5 stop trip. And, we had the restaurant all to ourselves in the morning. Thanks for everything Philip! The tourist stops and hikes you recommended were top notch.

Wonderful accommodating owner. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Wonderful homemade cookies. Had to go out for the included breakfast. Cafe 2 min drive away. Actually liked that got us up and ready to start the day.

Beautiful old period home with lovely outdoor garden situated on waterfront drive. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed and lovely patchwork quilt. Loved the shower in the Osprey room. No AC, but fan provided. Also included a delicious breakfast. Only minutes away from Star of the Sea hall.

It's a nice enough house but considering it was the most expensive place we stayed in our 43 days trip, it wasn't commensurate in value. When I reserved, I had asked for places to eat and they suggested a place which turned out to be their own. That is okay, except it was closed so that left only one other option. That was also where the breakfast was served which also was okay but not on the premises. Over all, I don't think you would be disadvantaged at all for staying there -- it's just didn't have the 'wow' factor which so many other places we stayed did.
